I am most thankful for community. Friends and family alike; present with me during different seasons of life. It is a blessing to have those who sit with you and support you as you brace the curveballs of life. With words of affirmation being a top love language of mine, I appreciate those who’ve backed their words with consistent and much needed action. I cannot tell you how many times a text, call, FaceTime, or even a visit sitting in silence or laughter has aided me along my journey. Transition after transition, growing and evolving right in front of my eyes and right alongside me. It is the prayers of those present and gone that have carried me through growth and grief, healing and triumph. So many have poured into me with words of wisdom, affirmation and confidence knowingly and unknowingly. We all want connection, to feel that we are cared for, seen, valued and loved, having been blessed with connection to my people I am eternally grateful.
